I just finished cleaning my Buckmark for the first time. My question is, what is the best way to lubricate it?

Mobil 1 15W-50 on all slide surfaces, VERY gently remove ONE grip at a time and lube contact points under each side. Done.

I use RemOil, same as my other guns. No excessive wear of problems so far. Use the same gun oil as you do on other frames.

Thanks. When I had it apart, I couldn't tell exactly which surfaces were in contact. I guess that means I haven't shot it enough. At first, I just spread Break-Free on everything that looked like a bearing surface, but that started getting messy, so I wiped them off, reassembled, and turned to the collective wisdom of THR.

NO GREASE - any lube that's too thick/slows down the rearward slide travel will cause you all sorts of grief (in the form of nonstop FTE's). DAMHIK. :)
