Is this the rifle? Looking at the gun and doing a quick scale it looks like the barrel is around 26" long. It says its a .45 caliber too. My favorite.
Very nice looking rifle. It should give you many years of entertainment. It's a great idea to be able to switch from flint to percussion when you want.
I need to take my BP rifles out again, it's been such a long time, I just need powder and primers.
I have a coach underhammer in .45 with a .32 barrel as well. Lots of fun to shoot and wasn't difficult to build. This pistol I found in a closet a little while ago. I forgot I had it. I'm going to get with my shooting buddy and have a black powder day.
Yeah...been gone for 20+ years. I do vaguely remember a small museum at Spalding... Sounds like I need to make a trip back to the mother country. My cousin owns drug stores in Kamiah and Cottonwood..... would be good to see him!
