Hey all. Just wanting to know if anyone of you have shot the yellow tipped Bulgarian 7.62x54 heavy ball. I just ordered a can from Wideners for $45/300. I have all types of x54, but not any of this stuff. Let me know what you think of this stuff. I may order more, but I don't want to open the can if I can keep from it.
    Thanks all

Good stuff. Accurate, reliable, and doesn't kick bad to boot.

Thanks for the input. I heard it was good, but just didn't want to store a bunch of it and find out later that it is crap. Thanks again.

It is corrosive, though, but you already knew that, I guess.

I have fired all kinds of x54 and the checz is my favorite too. I was buying cases of 54r for cheap ($29/440) but those days are over. I knew these days were coming and can kick myself for not squirreling away more of it. I love to shoot this round and have burned up alot of cheap ammo and for the most part I can say that I haven't run across awhole lot of junk, just some that shot better that others. Thanks for the input.

One 91/30 I have doesn't care for it, shoots all over the place, but my other 91/30 loves it, feeds great, groups well. Feels a little hot after some of the other surplus and my reloads but I can live with it at the price lol.

I bought the same stuff two weeks ago. It looks really good, reliable and cheap!

Great stuff, shoots perfect point of aim in my M44 at 50 yards. Groups ain't bad either. I ordered a second tin while they still have them.
