The glass was about 1 and 7/8" thick and was 4 pieces compressed together.
My AK and CZ-52 were the only firearms that penetrated the glass.
My .22 bounced off and the .12 g Dove and Quail load almost bounced back to us.
NOT 1 rd. except the 40 cal came close to breaking through.
I have a 3" piece I would like to try some big guns on...pics soon..

    The piece..

Very neat. I wouldve thought the slugs would've did more damage though.

Criminals in ex-Soviet and Bloc countries like to still carry the Tokarev TT3 not the Makarov because 7.62 x 25mm will penetrate the police soft armor as your test supports.

Thanks for the test and pictures.

Was this home made? I saw the instructions on making this a few months ago and recall similar results.

Was this real glass or Lexan?

Obviously not real glass. There are no cracks, only rips and tears. Not acrylic for the same reasons. No doubt it's polycarbonate.

The "Glass" was Lexan my apologies for not clarifying that..
I shot from about 35-40 ft. away.
Yes, it was a "home made" test, out in the desert..But the glass was retrieved from a dumpster after a Jail contract was complete. I was only able to get a few pieces.
I'm thinkin' about making a table out of it...just have to put a real piece of glass over it now..
