    Hi

I started reloading with the Vihtavouri N320 powder for my .45acp 1911 and on the Vihtavouri reloading data for the .45 acp there are only used Horandy FMJ-RN 230 grs bullets and the test barell is 6" and mine is 5". Can I use any other FMJ-RN with the same weight becasue we have only a few bullet brands and and shoot it through a 5" barrel.

    Thanks

You can use other brands of the same type & weight bullets. As always, use the starting load, and work up the powder charge.

The shorter 5" barrel would generate less chamber pressure than the 6" test barrel using the same weight bullet.
