Now he's calling for a 2.77 trillion budget for his "War on terrorism". If Congress approves of this, there goes Medicare, Medicaid, and SSI. Love this country with all my heart because this is were I was born. If Bush's rediculous budget gets approved I'm packing up and moving to a different country until we get a president that will get this country back on track:mad:

Buh-Bye.

Between War on Terrorism (national defense) and various welfare, health care services/insurance, and retirement/disability plans, which is authorized to the federal government by the Constitution?

See ya.
By the way, it is spelled "ridiculous". Of course, it will be spelled differently in what ever country you move to.

Bush needs to stop worry about fixing other country's problems and worry about our own problems. If I get banned for speaking the truth and that really shows you just how much things are messed up:mad:

. . . until we get a president that will get this country back on track
I suspect you'll have a long wait for another Teddy Roosevelt or even a Ronald Reagan . . . :(
. . . I'm packing up and moving to a different country . . .
Let us know where you end up; you may have to search pretty hard for a better alternative, seeing as the USA would be the worst country in the world . . . except for all the rest.

I never said the USA was the worst country. I said Bush is insane. By the way I wen't through the trouble for you softies and asked to be banned by a moderator of this forum.

Yeah, 'cause it's the presidents job to keep the country on track.....

Read the constitution. If your feeling especially plucky, hit some of the other documents that the "founders" wrote. Report back your findings. Just to point you in the correct direction, and to make sure you get off on the right foot, George Washington was not the first president

That's just stupid talk there. No need for you to be banned, you could just walk away. Of course, that'd not fit your martyr fantasy near as well as the the thought that "I got banned 'cause I talked so tough"

You would rather have....

Gore or Kerry? And why?????????? Remember, wishing for someone else that has no prayer of ever getting elected, is not an option........chris3

I talked so tough has nothing to do with it. I wen't through the trouble so others didn't have to. If you're looking for the William Bray with a massive ego that would be my father who is on the run from the law.

Have a safe trip. Say hi to Alex and Barbra, the Dixie Chicks, and all the celebs who moved out of the country after the election ...

Parlez-vous Francais? You'll need to know another language ...

P.S. Edit your thread title, man. That crap is getting so tiresome.

Why did you ask to be banned? Why didn't you just quit of your own choice? Your father has nothing to do with this.

Why did I asked to be banned. Some of the other members feel offended by what I said and were implying that I was going to be banned anyway.

More precision needed in your description... actually it is a total budget and it "...would also make his first-term tax cuts permanent, at a cost of $1.4 trillion over 10 years, and still achieve his goal of cutting the deficit in half by 2009..." And among those that doubt Bush's conservative credentials in making the government smaller, this budget reduces or curtails "141 government programs that Bush sought to sharply reduce or eliminate entirely."

In the wise words of Homer Simpson, "Talking won't get you there!"

You would be better off sticking around and reading other peoples point of view about things.

As you discuss these serious topics with other people who hold different views you will find that where you are right your argument becomes much stronger. Where you are wrong you may have to rethink what you believe.

IIRC you are a young guy, you should stick around and pick up some of the wisdom available from the members here, not only on gun related topics but life in general.

Part of the reason the Democrats are failing so miserably is they take a simular approach as you. They demonize and belittle the President but offer little to no alternative solutions.

Whether you are speaking the truth is for the reader to determine. However, I think it would be pretty clear from even a passing read of the L&P forum that criticizing the President is not a banning offense around here.

Since you are the only one to bring up the subject of a ban so far, I think all this shows so far is a talent for drama/desire for martyrdom.

Why did I asked to be banned. Some of the other members feel offended by what I said and were implying that I was going to be banned anyway.

Not in this thread they weren't... in any case, as I mentioned earlier there are literally thousands of instances of people criticizing the President (and even supporting it with facts and discussion vice emotional outcry) and not being banned. Why would you suddenly think you warranted the attention?

If you don't want to be be here, don't visit.

Bush only wants to spend $560 billion on the military. That's only 20% of his total $2.77 trillion budget proposal. Still, its way more than what the entire rest of the world is spending on their militaries.

Anyway, Bush hopes to cut $107 billion from social programs that feed poor young children and destitute old people. Why not? They probably don't vote Republican anyway.

Let me go back to my basic Spanish language lessons now ........ When they rename Knoxville, how will it be spelled?

Good fricking hell... You don't ask to get banned, and then keep posting.

JUST WALK THE HELL AWAY FROM THE COMPUTER.

Give me a break. And I am a Moderator, and this gets the award for stupidest post I've seen this week. Get over your martyr syndrome and move on with life.

You wish. The fact is, there are thousands of worthless "feel good" programs out there that do little more than provide jobs for government social workers while breeding a fresh generation of government dependents. All this at the expense of those actually working and paying taxes.

Cut the fat, I say.

When you finally do move to some other country, let me know, and I'll come pick up all your guns and keep them safe while you stay in that other country.

Hope to hear from you soon......

Why not? Because that's not the federal government's job. At least, it was never intended to be. Just because FDR and LBJ wanted it that way doesn't make it the right thing to do.
