I just aquired a very good condition, functioning, ARM pistol, but it's missing the trigger guard and the dust cover. Does anyone have any idea, other than Bushmaster, where I might find replacements?

Thanks.

That is a tough one. I know Bushy carries them, but you already mentioned that. You may want to try Numrich or one of the other big Gun Parts catalogs.

As far as the triggerguard goes, you know it would take Shannon or Bob Howard all of five minutes to gin you up one that's indistinguishable from the original.

(Sorry for pestering you to sell it to me last night, man. I had to try; I'm sure you understand. ;) :D )

No problem Tam.

Oh, by the way, I now have a nice source for authenticated Ni/Fe meteorites with good Widmanstätten Pattern. Prices are very reasonable ~$400 for a single 6lb meteorite!

Why don't we pester Bushmaster to make one again? With some improvements, I think it would be a fun gun. If the weight is an issue, make it an AOW by adding a second grip.

A lovely little FUN piece , if a little limited in its actual tactical applications. I was on the first banned list here in the PRK although that first list was struck down on technical grounds. It was listed as " BUSHMASTER ASSAULT RIFLE -AMGUN " ( spelling correct, though I assume that they meant to say "armgun" ) with the maker listed as Bushmaster althought that was the model name, as the pistol was actually made by Gwinn firearms in Maine. Later, the PRK changed tactics and banned it by characteristics instead, " Magazine not passing though the pistol grip " Never heard of anybody registering any of them, though, that I know of. I'm seriously hoping to move to Arizona when I retire 3 yrs from now!:D
