I was watching a youtube video and the maker was using a number of 10/22 mag from different makers and he said ' i'm not going to use the BX-25 mag because I've had nothing but trouble with this mag when trying it in my 5 Ruger 10/22's'....

Hmmmmmmmm

Well it sounds like he is trying to promote whatever brand he was using, obviously.

The BX 25s are made by ruger for ruger 10/22s....hrm lets put 2 and 2 together.

I have two BX-25 mags and they have run flawlessly so far. Slow fire, fast fire, some of each, doesn't matter. I like them, and if I can ever buy more at the old price, I will.

I have one that doesn't work properly, FWIW. I haven't bothered to take it apart and try to figure out what's wrong. My 3 others work fine. I have had no trouble with butler creek hot lips. I have one "steel lips" that has jammed a couple of times.

Not having good luck with the extended mags.

Just received five in the mail Monday. Never had any real 25 rounders before. Now waiting for warmer weather. :)

My brother has 5 BX-25 magazines for his synthetic 10/22. They are built like a tank and feed reliable every time. His only complaint with them is good luck finding more for a decent price right now.

Order direct from Ruger @ $31.95 each. Takes a while, but they will arrive. Mine took about six weeks.

Yeah, well I got a couple of dozen BX-25's and I can tell you that the dude was full of caca. BX-25's are the most reliable 10/22 mags out there, next to the 10-rounders.

One of my local shops had had a whole box of them for $34 for about 3 months now.

I just saw an add for a new 10/22 mag that connects two BX25s together. 50 rounds just by swapping it end for end:)

They are the best mags for the 10/22 that I know of. If they don't work for you, then something is wrong with you or the rifle...

Saw those at the LGS this week. Problem is, you can't separate the two halves. They're integrated and kind of bulky. I miss my old Ramline 50 rounder. Actually smaller than the bx-25. Well, technically I still have it. I miss the good old days when it still worked!
