As an extension of the "Nevermind the Dog, Beware of Owner" signs and considering all the "burglar law suits", what if one were to write up and post a "Terms and Conditions" for illegal entry into the house? Something like, "By illegally trespassing on this property, you are waiving your and your family's right to sue the residents of this building for any physical or emotional harm that results from any illegal activity..."

I wonder how that would hold up in a Civil suit.

You would probably be sued by Cal-OSHA for failing to provide a safe workplace.

wouldnt help, would probably hurt. Signs like that have no legal standing to my knowledge. but they could be used to try to show that you used premeditation or that you were the type that was just waiting for an excuse to waste someone.

"Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here!"

Delta Press had the best one. It was printed in English and Spanish, and was very simple. "If you come through this door, you will be killed."
