Can anyone comment on the C-more systems Red dot tactical flat top.

How durable is it?
How about holding zero and clarity?

i was thinking about getting an aimpoint for my flatop then I saw the C-more that comes with a rear aperture sight which I was planning of getting one. I notice that both are parallex free which is the main feature I was looking for. Now I want to know which would be more durable.

I installed a C-More Tactical on my ASA 9MM M4gery. I really like it. Zeroing it in was a little difficult as the adjustments are very sensitive. Hasn't moved or needed an adjustment since.
I really like the compactness of the sight, plus the three options of Red Dot, Open, or indexed Red Dot.
The C-More tactical I installed has been 100 percent reliable. I have not babied the rifle nor have I made attempts at handling the rifle in an effort to damage the C-More or any sight or scope.
I don't know where abouts in Ct. your located, but if you would like to check out my set up drop a line, and maybe we can work something out.

I've been running a C-More Scout setup on a Light weight Sporter for several years. I like it and chose a C-More railway for my new AR-180B.

Where did you get the rail for installing the optic?
180B seems to have longer sight radius than AR15 with similar length barrel. If that's so, does it impreove practical accuracy?

The AR-180B mount is from B-Square. I got it from Hitach who sells it for less then what B-Square wants for it.

As for accuracy, to be honest I have not had the time to do any serious shooting with the AR-180B. I put it on paper at 50 yards with the open sights and have run about 300 quick rounds for break in and mag testing. Hopefully, when the new job allows I’ll give a full report.

What made you decide to go with the C-more?

Did you try anything else before the C-more?

Smiley,

First, sorry it took so long to respond. Was pretty tied up all weekend,
I looked at the Aimpoint and the C-more. Went to Joseph's in New Britain and was able to check out both systems on different ARs he had on the wall. The Aimpoint was ok but seemed to be large and almost in the way on the small carbine. The Aimpoint also required purchasing a separate folding rear sight in order to offer the same options as the C-More Tactical. The Tactical was very compact and light. It just seemed a better fit to me. The fact the entire installation was $250 less than the Aimpoint didn't hurt either.
Before ordering I checked with the gunsmith I use and asked for his input. He told me he had installed several C-mores for customers on handguns and ARs. All were happy with the performance and no problems were reported.
Is the Aimpoint better, I can't say but I am pleased with the C-More.

thank you very much for all the help. I am going to order a C-more Tactical as soon as CDNN gets them back in stock.

Can you please expand on the OKO site? I am not familiar with what you are talking about.
