I'll track mine with you. We can see which one takes longer. I sent mine off on Monday, January 17th. :)

Edit: Correction. It went out the 18th. The 17th was a holiday.

I mailed mine on the 20th of December and got mine on the 21st of January, and the law manual/books on the 22nd.

Glad you guy's aren't from NY I sent mine in on the 26th of Sept. Had the ATF conduct an inteview at my home and still haven't gotten it. :cuss:

I live in Arizona and I priority mailed mine in on the 11th of December, still no response. I've tried to call but the person in charge of the AZ apps has never picked up their phone and hasn't returned a message.

I think mine got lost somewheres. It'll probably show up in July w/a big old footprint on it.

If your wait time goes over 5 or 6 weeks you need to call the ATF. They way they work is that if they run into a problem with your application they simply set it aside and forget about it until you happen to call and find out what's going on. They will not contact you, so if you just keep waiting you may never get it!

Is this normal??? :uhoh:

I sent mine on Nov. 17 and the check was cashed on Nov. 23. I thought things would go slow due to the holidays and the slowness of our mail out here.
Still waiting for my license to show up.
Mebbe I need to call them. :uhoh:
Mebbe they're pi$$ed over something I said about them either here, on TFL or KABA.com and are holding out on me. :what:

sent mine in on Oct. 1st. I suppose I should call, eh?

Yep. They don't call you if there's a problem - it just sits there. I had my Uzi approved in 3 months, which is good, but was told the supressor application was still pending. I finally got ahold of the person with my supressor paperwork, and she said she never got the prints I sent for it. I told her the Uzi had been long approved, so now I have to count on her to get ahold of the person who approved the Uzi and use those prints. I can only hope she gets it done - I have no idea when I'll get it.

Mailed mine 12/20/04......called and left a message on Monday regarding the status of my application..... gonna call again tomorrow.... :cuss:

Mine took a couple days less than two months, and I submitted a downloaded form to the wrong address.

What kind of questions did the agent(s) ask in these interviews? Is it some kind of New York requirement? And why would BATFE care?

For all you guys who had "I mailed my app on 'x' date & they cashed my check on 'x+y' date (usually very close to 'x' date ;) ). Our lovely .gov cashes any checks that they get right away. The good thing is that you can take that as a conformation that they got your app :D .

Seriously, they cash the check right away. Depending on the state you are a couple/few weeks away from being on the road to broke/making silly excuses to the better half why the UPS guy is laughing every time he shows up....

Greg (17 days door to door fwiw :neener: )
