Cabela's ammo lawsuit

    Apparently, a judge is allowing a civil lawsuit to proceed against Cabela's for selling .45 ACP ammo to a 19-year old.

    Seems that at least part of the argument is that .45 ACP rifles are not legal in the area and that they are specifically marketed as handgun ammo?

    Just curious for some takes from those more knowledgeable about such matters.

    I watched the video linked last night. It looks like more of a cabelas employee selling to someone underage than any big conspiracy. Then unfortunately the ammo was used in a death so a lawsuit happened. Cabelas tried the it was rifle ammo angle but it looks like that was shot down.
