Bought some the last time they were $20. In limited testing they seem to be slightly less "hot' than Fed, Win, or CCI. Anyone else notice this? Work just fine though.

Use them for my 9's and tested some in my 223 loads Never had a problem so far, might run out and get a few more!

Curious though, how would you test the power of primer against another one??
Perhaps use chrono to measure muzzle velocity?

People have done low light testing with primed cases for primer flash size and duration.

I use CCI/Winchester as my reference primers. Fiocchi/Magtech/Tula/Wolf primers seem to produce comparable performance but PMC NT SP primers seem to require .1-.2 gr more powder charge with W231/HP-38.

Chrono-Higher vel = "hotter" primer
Note: only the LRs are on sale at the moment.
I can't really say for sure since I am on different lots of powder than when I was using the CCIs so I don't have a good side by side #s with the same powder lot on the same day.
Having said that maybe a little less "hot" than CCI.

hmmm, just got done with my first ar build. have both cci and sb sr primers. Need to go out and test the AR and then I might run some primer tests with the SB SR primers against the CCI ones for giggles. See what pans out. Throw in the shooters world tac powder i bought to test also.

Perhaps use chrono to measure muzzle velocity?
Yes, switching primers sometimes makes a noticeable difference in FPS in pistol loads, especially light ones.

My N320 9MM 124 Gr plated load with Fed or Win primers left brass very clean, but with the S&B it was dirty and about 50ish FPS slower. A bump up in powder will likely fix that, but I haven't done it yet.

I use a lot of S&B primers, all flavors. I find them just slightly harder than CCI/WIN. I had one AR with lightened springs and titanium firing pin that didn't like the S&B Small Rifle primers, but a quick spring swap took care of it...

For my plinking/practice loads, the S&B are great!
