Are there any guns that will be banned this new year in California? I haven't found any. Just wondering if I'm missing something.

If there is one going out... I'll go buy it. :p

Probably the CTR02, STAG ARms, Fulton ARmory FAR-15, and DSArms AR recievers.

Good luck finding one. And if they don't ban them you are stuck with semi-neutered AR.

I thought they were banning all handguns that don't meet the new standards, but apparently the new standards only apply to weapons trying to get on the list. So CZ75s should still be availible in '06, but not stainless ones, like I want.

Handguns already on the approved-for-sale list just need to keep paying the state of CA every so often to stay on the list, even though nothing about their design had changed (sounds like a 'protection' money racket, huh?)

But yeah, thanks to Gray Davis' final signatures as governor before we kicked his incompetent behind out, all handguns being added to the list must have a magazine disconnect, manual safety, chamber loaded indicator, and other crap I don't care to remember. Don't remember the exact details... causes uncomfortable rises in blood pressure when reading :fire:

i have a pretty extensive waitlist for non-banned AR lowers to ship to CA. i have shipped a few Stags. have more Stags coming and a dozen Ameetec LE - marked lowers inbound.

the hardest part is finding a dealer with some in stock and then a dealer in CA who will be the transfer agent. so far i have a dealer in Ventura, Riverside, Santa Clara, and Cupertino.

There is a momentary lapse in the AW laws in California. Certain non named AR-15 type lowers not on a list are being sold. :)

Really? I thought the law stated no pistol grips with a detachable mag. Which would be the AR.

They've appropriated the term "liberal" to themselves in perfect Orwellian fashion. Kinda like Arlen Specter or John McCain calling themselves Republicans. Or W. calling himself a Conservative. It's an Orwellian world nowadays. Don't you think that if we had true conservative Republicans running this country not only would the Southern border be hermetically sealed but most anti-RKBA laws would've been repealed?

Wow! Gun registration in California! And Schwarzenegger is lettin' it happen? Registration has been historically; is; and shall be 'til the End of Time mere Prelude to Confiscation! And they're actually banning some guns? And Californians are lettin' it happen? Ain't this ironic! Freedom for Iraq--Tyranny for **********! All arms makers should refuse to do business with any ********** governmental organization, period. How about a Million Man March on Sacremento? One million men and women, sworn to uphold the US Constitution? Guns optional.

Your guess is as good as mine. From what I've heard, it could be any minute now. CA DOJ will prolly close this loophole by naming the off-list lowers to the list, thereby making them AW's and no longer legal for sale/purchase in Kali. Do it quick, man.

    Re: California gun bans

California is a politically incorrect communist state which is violating civil rights on a daily basis. I am a northern California native who got out of the state 3 years ago due to this kind of crap. I now live in Arizona where you can get assault weapons anywhere without any waiting period. Eventually you wont be able to use the restroom in Cali without a permit. :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:

If you hurry. There is supposed to be a meeting at the DOJ today about all this. I'd get one asap.
