California governor signs law allowing gun violence victims to sue firearm manufacturers for damages

So the problem with these kinds of laws is it sounds ridiculous and will probably backfire initially, but it plants the seed into young minds as being a valid avenue. When those younger, impressionable people get older and become lawmakers themselves, it's not so crazy to them. The second or third time it sticks.

I'm old enough to have seen this happen before. I mean, how many of us here read the news and think "people can't be this stupid", but here we are.
