Do any walmarts in the San Diego area sell guns? I'm looking for a cheap .22 semiauto rifle, and the prices on walmart.com are great. If the ones in San Diego don't, what about the one in Temecula?

Wal-mart in California no longer sells rifles (center/rim fire). They do however still sell air rifles and ammo. Sorry. If you are driving to Temecula you might as well keep going on to the Turners on Tyler (91) by the Mall.

Damn.
A TFL member just offered me a nice stainless, synthetic stock 10/22 for a decent price, but if that falls through, I'll check out Turner's.

Ah, just found a Turner's in Kearny Mesa. That's much closer to me.
No evil guns of any kind all walmart except paint and pellet
I went looking for a duece duece (hehe) awhile back and after lots of looking I ended up at Big 5 with a ruger 10/22 I think it was 179.00 for the basic blued but that was awhile ago so I could be wrong on the price. Turners in Kearny Mesa is a good place to look but alittle more eexpensive han Big 5 when on sale. You can also look at Southern California Guns on Convoy if you are interested in a used 22. Hope this helps in your search. I am racing at Barona every other Saturday so I dont know when I will be making it out to shoot again but keep me informed if you hear of everyone going out again. The SKS and Mossy are getting lonely in the closet since they havent had any ammo in them in awhile.

We go out once every two months or so.

Yeah I am a member of that yahoo group. I went out with you guys one time I was with guys in a gold sport-trac I had an SKS with a super blonde stock on it. What do you drive? I am back to racing on saturday night at Barona so I dont know how much shooting I am gonna be doing until winter comes back around and racing season ends.

The name is Hirams Liquor and Guns. I used to be in one store and then they moved it to a new location now it is attached same building but not in one room. That was along time ago before I got back into shooting but I used to go get sandwiches there from time to time and laugh that he had a clearance mag/accesories table right in front of the beer cooler.
