Next Month-August- Your Congress Critters Are Having Constitutent Meetings/town Hall Meetings.

You Know What To Do If You Can Attend.

Bring A Copy Of The ATF's Letter Banning Import Parts And Show It To Your Rep/Senator. Give It To Them. Explain You Want Spare Parts Back. The letter is up on the BATF's website.

    Everyone Needs To Do This.

Here are the changes we need:

Purpose: To allow for the import of repair and replacement parts only

SECTION 1.: Title 18 Chapter 44 Section 925 US Code is amended by:

    (a) In section (d) subparagraph 3:

    (1) striking the word ‘unlawful’ and replacing it with ‘lawful’
    (2) inserting ‘parts,’ between ‘frame,‘ and ‘receiver’

I would point out that the House has not heard their version of the Firearms Liability law passed by the Senate today. There is still time to have technical amendments tacked on to the House version that would survive conference.

Only before it comes to a vote and I doubt Cliff Stearns or Rick Boucher would amend it.

But if you live in their districts please bug them about it.
