I am an NRA Endowment member.

Today I signed on with the Second Amendment Foundation:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_Amendment_Foundation
http://www.saf.org/default.asp?p=safdonation
I did $50 for 5-years.

I also signed on with Gun Owners of America:
http://gunowners.co/new-annual-membership
I paid $20 annual with GOA, plus added another $30 donation.

I called NRA-ILA to make a $100 contribution, but phones were busy - a good sign.

I think there will be a long road of legal actions ahead.

I hope everyone is NRA member and if not member of others that they think about giving their support.

I believe in "United we stand" and that these organizations speak for us.

Please do what you can. Thanks.

That is great to hear!
Over the last 2 weeks, i upgraded my NRA membership to Life, joined SAF for 5 years and also joined GOA.
I also paid for 4 new people to join the NRA (paid for their first year membership).
We ALL need to do things like this. Think of what you would spend on a box of ammo...take that money and send it to the NRA or GOA or SAF.
The time is now!
:)

I've signed up SIX new Life Members this month, and referred two cops to the Life of Duty program.

And now I need to pony up myself with a generous gift to the NRA-ILA.

The ONLY thing the "gentlemen" (a nod in the direction of "the high road") in DC will understand is a huge block of single-issue voters willing to boot them out of office.

Good job Stope. I helped a friend upgrade to Life a while back and he just went Endowment. Also helped son of friend to sign up as Regular. NRA-ILA was busy all of yesterday - they're not open till Monday now.

I will be sending a check to the NRA this week and joining the GOA and SAF after my next paycheck.

I agree on calm and decisive action, but we need the NRA to get a cohesive plan in the works. I have already been doing the obvious calling, emailing, and writing my reps. Both senators and my representative seem to have their heads on straight... Now what?

Thanks goon and all.
Posted this also on S&W Forum, KAHR Talk, and Ruger Forum - got only a few replies, so deleted there.
Most response here, so keeping on here.

Always have to hope for best and think about worst.
Might start a new thread on thoughts re what would good cops do if ordered to confiscate and what would owners do if threatened with confiscation.

I read other forums on same issues and see varied opinions, some bravado, etc..

Tough times in Paradise for us good guys.
