Can anyone help me identify these rifles and rifle features seen on Miami Vice?

Pause the video at these time intervals and full-screen them to see:

1. 0:13 - This is a PSG-1, right? It's pretty dark and hard to tell...

2. 0:40 - What M-4 model is this: A1, A2...? Why is the barrel shroud trapezoidal with circular holes in it instead of the solid circular ribbed shrouds that most other M-4s normally have? Does this one have a bolt catch release on the left side (can't see one)...or did that feature come after the 80s? Why is that laser sight two feet long, lol?

3. 0:43 - Is that a Beretta 92FS or a Taurus PT-92? (Not a rifle question, I know)

4. 2:11 - Why doesn't that cop's M-4 have a forward assist on the right side?

I don't know about #1, can't see it.

#2 is an AR-15 or M16 variant with M203 handguards (allows mounting a grenade launcher)

#3 Looks like a stainless beretta to me, but I could be wrong.

#4 because it's a slick-side upper. There are plenty without forward assists.

1. Yeah, I think that that is a PSG 1, but it's dark and hard to tell.
2. That's an A1 model, the rear sight doesn't have the horizontal knob for coarse adjustments that is on A2's. That handguard is the kind that is usually used with an M203 grenade launcher, but there doesn't appear to be one on that particular rifle. The sight is huge because this is an old show, tech wasn't as good, and big stuff looks better on TV.
3. That appears to be a PT-92, as there doesn't appear to be a safety on the slide.
4. Early ARs didn't have a forward assist, that was added later on.

#2) M16A1 style AR-15 with M203 handguard (presumably because it looks cool)
#3) Taurus, the safety is clearly on the frame.
#4) It's a slick-sided A-1 style upper receiver.
