I have a couple of Ruger all weather stocks. Are marked 483 inside the fore end. Look to be possibly a 77/22 bolt action stock. They are NOT Ruger 77 stocks though.
I believe the 77/22 all weather stock had the trigger guard molded in to the stock. It was not a separate (metal) part, but of the same material as the stock. The ruger 77 I had back in the mid 90's had the trigger guard (stainless) as a separate part. That was the stock that had removeable palm swells and forearm inlets. Wish I still had that rifle! Trigger pull was a bit much though.
Hmmmmmmmm. This one has the palm swells and forearm bits that have stainless screws in them. Stainless strap hangers also. Does NOT have any trigger guard. Looks like a single piece floorplate and trigger guard would fit. Nothing molded to the stock.
