I've found a NOS Canik c-100 at a local gun shop. Comes with a case and 3 15 round magazine's. Didn't think to take a picture. 400 out the door. The mags are all Mcgar. I own and have owned several CZs over the years but never a Canik. My edc is a CZ PCR. Good deal or not?

I'd try lower.
I don't know if Canik still sells parts, so that's an issue.
These pistols are not true clones, although they are much much closer than Tanfoglio and SAR.
Some CZ parts fit, some are Canik specific.

To me, when I can get a new PCR for 525, an used Mutt like those Caniks are for 400 doesn't make sense.

I do believe the C100 has an alloy frame with safety, something CZ has never made for sell in the USA.

Yes, an alloy frame. About the same weight as my PCR. In my neck of the woods . If you can find a PCR your looking at 650 to 700. Used ones are in the high 5s.

I have owned one for a few years. Also had a PCR for a while. Very similar. I did a spring replacement job on it. Have found it to be very accurate and dependable. Paid $400 several years ago. Not many come up for sale.

Went back to the shop today. Picked up the Canik for 300 out the door. I'll be taking it to the range today or tomorrow to test it out and compare it to my PCR
That sounds much better. Think mine was about $350 brand new when it was purchased 9 or 10 years ago. I slicked up the trigger with some 1000 grit sandpaper, swapped out the mainspring for a CGW one, and installed an ameriglo tritium front sight. Mine is branded Tristar. I put around 300 rounds down range this afternoon. Only issue I had with it was not seeing the front sights very well. I'll be looking into some type of hivis sight for it, and my PCR.lol. accuracy and trigger pull was on par with my PCR.

I was wrong about the sight. It’s a night fision one. $48, for the front sight…….
