After three weeks of ownership, I found the Canik one of the most pleasant pistols to shoot. Over 500 rounds without a hiccup. The trigger on this model is ridiculous. Better than any pistol I've owned. Purchased two extra magazines. One of the absolute best buys on the market.

Ive watched the Caniks alot, especially the CZ clones they make marketed under the Tristar name. I only wish they'd turn out some non-1911 45's....since the 1911 trend is already over-covered.

They have a model which is basically a P-01 which I adore...and some CZ enthusiasts say is better than the real thing. It is the ultimate ergo-type for me.

I also have the elite. Hand's down the gun I shoot best. It loves my 124gn RMR FMJs and 4.2 grains of Bullseye. Sights and trigger are outstanding right out of the box. I want to get my hands on an SFX whiteout.

Ive got an SFX with a Freedomsmith trigger, and its my favorite 9mm to date.
I loved the Sig x5 legion my buddy brought in, but the trigger wasnt as good as my Canik, and while it fit my better and FELT better, I didnt shoot it any better.

I realy wish Canik would put out a large frame tp9, id buy more than one.

Yes, nice triggers. I wish they would make a a TP9SFX with adjustable sights on the stock model.

I bought mine online from Grad-A-Gun for $300 bucks. It's a One Series, meaning only one magazine, and pretty much nothing else. I picked up two extra mags a few days later.

Another happy Canik TP9SF Elite owner here. It just feels good in my hand and is easy to shoot well. Fantastic trigger and great sights from the factory.

I have had some experience with the Turkish brands in autoloaders and pump actions. I have to say they work very well. I notice Turks dont compromise on quality control.

I have the TP9 SF , great pistol for the price , eats any ammo I put through it. The trigger on the Caniks are absolutely great for a striker fired pistol.
