Before anyone says it "i allready have an Esse. a 4 and a 6" I'm looking at TOPS Outpost command and TOPS Wilderness Guide which would you recommend for a general outdoor use knife "which is what all my knives get used for". Just typical bushcraft work, with some rope, vine and cardboard cutting here and there some light chop maybe not any heavy chopping I have heavier/longer blade knives and hatchets for that. I'm into these two do the the width and profile of the blades and the overall profile not being too "tacticool" back of a magazine type design. the wilderness being 1/8" thick the outpost being 1/4"

say you can have either for $115 which would you pick?

the Wilderness is 4 1/4 "cutting edge" 4 1/2 total the Outpost is a 5 cutting 5 1/2 total blade

I've held both they both FEEL right in hand, feel as good as my junkyard dog folder which I still love. Just can't decide, it's pretty much heavy duty cutter slicer vs lighter weight cutter/slicer

I don't love either one, but the Wilderness Guide looks like a more usable handle and spine.

Have you seen the B.O.B. knife? That's Brothers of Bushcraft. Very good knife.
