Das Jager I spied the Leech and Rigdon at a gun show this past March. It was all alone amongst a bunch of it's more modern cousins, NIB for $250! I've always wanted a Dragoon but how could I leave this baby alone? Working on Momma to let me get it a big brother.

Momma

you work hard on her too Messerist :D
I dont owne one of those , yet , but sure like them , a true Southern gun with real Southern roots . It definatley is gracefull :) Pretty good deal on that too you got , considering you cannot touch one for less than $295 without shipping , or more .

Good luck , but my advice for tis big brother is buy it anyway . :D Peace in the house is over-rated anyway :D

The Wall... Wow !!! Both are gorgeous... love the loading stand you have there.

Pohill? Got close ups of those signature series .36 Navys? Very nice collection you have goin' on there !!

MCB !! OMG !!! That doesn't include "The Spaghetti Westerns"???? Those be FINE !!! And clean enough to be eating utensils !! Bravo !!

I don't normally see checkering on a Hawken style rifle, I like it, looks good. I like the patch box too.

Here's my favorite cased revolver, Colt C series 51 navy. I don't know what it is about this case, but I like it.

Dave

That is a Walker that has a 5" barrel. I got it and planned to lengthen it but after handling it for a year, I have grown fond of it.

I shot it the other day and the front sight left it's place on the barrel so it is in my shop waiting for a new one to be dovetailed in place. At the same time, a bit of action work and maybe a new set of stag handles. I will post photos whne done.

The short barrel does little to improve the muzzle heavy feeling as the gun still weighs over 4 pounds. The Walker is never going to be a belt gun!

Yer Clembertness...

Indeed... I do need to get me one... however... no can do at the moment. At present I'm trying to talk myself into a new fishing reel and a rod rebuilding kit. :D We're having an ongoing arguement over it right now. (Damned voices anyhow)
