For most of my life I'd have voted 11 or more. But two years ago I destroyed my right shoulder in a fall at work. For a few months after the surgery I was in a gunslinger brace, an ironically named device to be sure! It was over a year before I could reach to put my wallet in my back right pocket and surgeon would still chew me out if he saw me do it today. I couldn't hold my arm out at extension enough to shoot right handed for about a year and I'm still not 100% (well, it never will be). Like most right handed guys I have ten right handed holsters and no left, but I have spend my whole life doing maybe 5% of my pistol shooting with my left just as a precaution. So I bought a left hand belly band for my Ruger LCRx and have gone to that. Admittedly not the "gunfighting gun" you're supposed to carry but about the only gun I can manage lefty.

The good news is I finally have enough range of motion that I think I'll be able to draw and use my regular CCW, an HK P2000, right handed again. Now I just have to lose 20 pounds so I can get back into my gun belt. Being laid up and not working for 20 months has me a bit out of shape.:uhoh:

I carry a PM9 in my weak hand front pocket as a 2nd option (AKA "back-up") to a Glock AIWB.
If I had a injury that caused me not to be able to use my right arm the PM9 ain't gonna cut it for a primary.
I've got one of those plastic Glock OWB holsters that I could carry a Glock 19 in on my left. I've never carried OWB, but ya do what ya have to do.

Good luck getting back to where you were, healed.

Well, almost five months later and I'm getting close to where I will probably be able to go back to shooting righty. I'll have to experiment a bit to see if I have enough mobility in my shoulder to draw from 3:30 IWB. Unfortunately I put on some weight while I was laid up so I've been working the spare tire off to the point where I can fit my gun IWB again.:rofl:
