Carcano TS

    Came into a Carcano 91TS 6.5 carbine. Been in the guys closet for 40+ years It cleaned up well after I got all the dirt out of the stock and years and years of dust out of the action.

    There was sand under the butt plate and in the barrel channel. Sure would be interesting hear what it could say if it could talk.

    Now to shoot it this weekend.

    It would probably say "sic semper tyrannis!"

    That is a really nice specimen you have. I have never come across a Carcano that looks that good. Hope you have fun shooting it.

    I got a bunch as I load for the 7.35 and other 6.5 mm Carcano's

    Bet that sand could be traced to North Africa? Maybe to Libya when the Italians ran the place?
