Carry more than one knife?

Yup, usually the Sebenza, the SAK Executive and one of my Spydercos, along with my Swisstool. If I'm wearing a jacket, I've got a fixed blade in the inside pocket, either a Spyderco Moran in a custom kydex sheath by Scott Evans, or a Spyderco Lum in a Buy Brown kydex sheath.
At work, they know who to come to if they need something cut or their knife sharpened;)

Always

Pocket, clip, keychain and fixed.

Briefcase holds at least two more.

Desk at work; baby Kabar (It's a letter opener I tell ya)

Time was I carried "Non-metallic" types when a metal detector was in the immediate future. Nowadays I don't fly less'n I have to, and if I must, I've got a couple of really STOUT Steel ballpoint pens (I wonder if they actually write?)

Adios

If I am carrying a knife for defensive possibilities (Spyderco Delica), I also always have a SAK in my pocket. I have a few peculiarities. I want to resist the temptation to use my defensive knife as a tool, lest I dull the edge and it's not at it's optimum if I need to use it defensively. It's the same phobia that makes me always ensure that my defensive gun is cleaned and well-lubed.

If I have to open a box, cut tape, etc. I use the SAK so I keep a keen edge on the Delica.

Spyderco Zytel-handled "Wayne Goddard" model, for opening packages...

...and a Round Eye Knife & Tool 5.5"-bladed "Sifu" for opening people.

S&W Neck Knife which is grat at .9 ounces and i dont even feel it anymore under my clothes and my SOG Flash in my pocket...

Yes, Spyderco Delica in left front, Benchmade Osborne 943 in R front, and occaisionally the Leatherman Wave on the belt.

Oh yea, and at least 1 light - Surefire, and I LOVE the new Streamlight Scorpion. Gotta get another 1 or 2 of those at $34.99, 1/2 the price of the Surefires.

Same here. I own four Surefires and think they're great, but I also carry a Scorpion in a briefcase and am very pleased with it too. And you're right-the price is about half, but I really don't think you're getting only half as much flashlight. geegee

Most always 3, sometimes 4.
left side clipped is a custom elishewitz titanium handled 154cm blade.

right side clipped varies but mostly the MOD trident and if not that then a Socom or LCC from Microtech.

On the neck is a LaGriffe neck claw by Emerson.
Best neck knife I've found and I've tried a few.

In the left front pocket always is a SAK hiker. This is the one used daily for chores unless I'm reallly in a hurry and grab either or of the clips.

I like the trident the more I carry it but they are all capable of hard defensive use.

From a minimum of 2 to a max of 6, depending on the days planned activities. Couple of Cold Steel, couple of Leatherman tools, couple of Swiss, and a couple of CRKT to choose from on a daily basis. Been very good the last year or so and haven't lost any.

General consensus is two. One for utility work. One for defense. Keep the defensive blade unused and SHARP. I like any variety of quality one hand openers for this purpose. The new Timberline Kelly Worden smaller tactical is an awesome fighting folder and it makes a good sap as well. For everyday utility, I go with something small, because some people freak out when you brandish a pig sticker for opening letters, so a little Bucklite does that duty.

Strider

I only carry one knife, wish I could carry 2, if space/weight is not an issue.

Thought back on it

Can't say that I ever do. If I am strapping on something bigger the pocket knife stays home. I only consider them useful for work. Have got a pistol for defense. I've never been too keen about getting within arms reach of anyone who would want to kill me! :what:

I've been carrying a Gerber 450 EZ-Out for about a year just about everywhere I go, but this thread has gotten me to thinking...I do need to pick up at least one more blade of some sort. I've considered this Gerber a defensive piece but I've been been letting it do domestic duty, too...really got some looks at the Sunday School Christmas party last year when someone couldn't get their gift open and I flipped open the Gerber! :)

I've already managed to bend the pocket clip when it got caught on the driver's seat of my van while exiting the vehicle, had to bend it back into proper shape. Methinks this one will become the dedicated utility knife while whatever new one I get will take the defense role.

For whatever it's worth, this knife has been riding on me along with my 1911 or by itself when I'm at work.

Aloha,
Today its a Strider SNG in my left front pocket, a medium TNT in my right front pocket..

The TNT is a bit more Sheeple friendly.
