This probably has been done before but another one can’t hurt. I like to see pictures of different cartridges next to each other so I have been trying to collect a variety. Here is what I have so far (unfortunately only a few are mine). I think these are some of the more common cartridges and would like to see others compared side by side. Post a picture of if you have a different collection (I am sure some here will need to take a panoramic picture). :D

I need a pic of mine, I have two lines (one for pistols, one for rifles) about 20 cases per lineup. Unfortunately, mines brass, not loaded ammo. I'll still put it together.

There's a pic on THR somewhere of someone who has a room of cartridges, at least a few hundred different ones. Could take a bit to dig it up.

Thanks, I was looking for one of these. But I do agree it needs a 7.62x54

That's a good picture but I would put the text horizontally to make it easier to read.

Also a ruler or something would help to compare the sizes.

Yeah, I know I am missing the 7.62x54r but that stuff is pretty spendy so I doubt I would be able to bum one :D. Good thing Rugerlvr took care of it.

I have 64 loaded cartridges and 35 spent cases in my collection. Unfortunately I can't keep the collection in my dorm :p so no pictures.

Wow, the .348! Does that mean you have a Model 71 Winchester?

It's funny I've just been sorting a boat load of brass tonight. I thought I'd mention a few.
    .243
    22-250
30cal M1 carbine. (got a bunch of those).
    .44mag.
    .30 30
Sig rounds (not sure of the caliber though, couldn't read the head stamp)
And my big find of the day was some .460. (Now that's one helluva a big handgun).

    Now I have a question:
I was sorting the 9mm and came across some that were marked 9x19. The cases were definitely shorter than the 9mm. I first thought it was just strange but then I found another 23 of them and they were all the same height and shorter than the 9mm. They were marked Marklov or something like that.

    ar10,
9x19 is the proper size for what is popular enough to be called "9mm".

There are also 9x18 (for the Makarov) and 9x17 (.380 Auto).

If the 9x19 brass that you found is visibly and obviously short, I'd just toss it.

If they were Markarov then they were 9x18, not 9x19
