I just got a Ruger Blackhawk .357 and the cylinder seems to be misaligned since the case heads in one side scrape the breechface. The rod that the cylinder rolls on doesn't seem to be bent, and I can't imagine the cylinder is. Can anyone help?

It may be that the hole in the frame where the basepin goes (the basepin is the one the cylinder revolves on) is drilled at an angle. I would contact Ruger and have then look at it. If the hole is indeed off they will replace the frame.

Are there any other symtoms? What ammo are you using? Do you see the scrape marks you talk about clearly?
