Cav Arms AR

Today I fired my Cav Arms/DPMS AR. I bought this at auction for less than $500. Probably no one wanted it, what with the bright blue poly lower and furniture. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Beauty is as beauty does.

No issues. Nice light carbine. Worth every penny.

I'd be mighty tempted to buy one cheap like that, and duracoat it a different color. Tan or sage would be cool.

I picked up several Cav Arms lowers for so cheap I couldn't help myself. One for me, one for the wife, one for the daughter...at least that's what I told them.

I'm the happy owner of three Cav Arms MKII lowers. They do a very nice job in dropping the weight of an standard A1/2 lower by almost a full pound. My 14.5" BCM middy comes in at 6.75lbs with red dot, BUIS, vertical grip, sling and loaded 20 round mag of 75gr Prvi OTM.
