Guess which giant of journalism's been pegged to replace Dan Rather.

Hint: it has something to do with RKBA.

CBS News

Another Katieism. About 4 months ago the Today show was running a show about child molesters, and at one point she said in effect that,-----you have to feel sorry for these men whocan't help but to have these urges.??????
It will be interesting to see how she does when she's alone on the news set without someone else to cover for her flubs. But that won't really bother me because I won't be watching CBS News.:fire:

Wanna bet she owns a gun

I'd bet a coffee that she owns a gun though. She may be anti-gun for us, because we are the sheeple. But, I'll bet she has her dirty little secret tucked away, and loaded up with hollow-points.

Even with hiring Komrade Kouric, I am not sure that the

C ommunist
B roadcasting
S ystem

has gotten any lower...Komrades Kouric & Dan Blather are a pretty well matched pair of Looney Leftists

(Now, I gotta spend about 15 minutes hurling my dinner...)

I don't remember it exactly, but a statement from (IIRC) Ann Coulter was that she had not seen such a leftist love-fest since the Katie Couric-Hillary Klinton interview

Who cares?

Since the advent of the blogosphere and distributed news reporting and analysis, these people have had their powerbase continually eroded.

Justin-

Actually, I'm happy about it. This will put another few nails in the coffin of MSM's retarded stepchild, TV news. No problem here.

I posted it not because it made me angry, but because it made me laugh. Couric will surely become a laughingstock.

Doesn't look bad in a beret? Then a beret would make an ice burg or attacking bear look good?

The only time I bothered watching was when she interviewed Ann Coulter. Fur flew and claws flashed. Hoo boy what a treat.

I actually watch CBS...

once in a while, now that Blather is gone. They have been pretty netural as of late. One time I was watching komrade katie pound her fist on the desk and shouting that no one should have guns except the police. I haven't watched her since and it has been a long time. I sent an email to CBS saying if that is the best they could come up with a news anchor, I will watch some other news program. Of course, CBS doesn't give a hoot about some hick in Texas.......chris3

I haven't watched CBS national news programming in oh, about 5 years now.

No news, no "60 Minutes" no morning show (I don't even remember what the CBS morning show is called any more) no other news magazines, nothing.

The only CBS news I watch is local, and then mostly for the weather reports.

Not gunna watch.
Haven't watched for two decades.
Not gunna happen.
Life is too short to watch television news.

I avoid Katie and don't watch the Today show.

Haven't watched CBS news as a primary news source for at least 10 years.

Actually, if they can now replace Mr "Deer in the headlilghts" Matt Lauer, the Today show might be worth watching again.

Life is too short to watch television news.

I haven't posted in awhile (I consider my time better spent reading as many threads as possible), but this comment hit real close to home.

Television news is not far removed from daytime talk shows, IMO.

I can get enough depressing information from print media and the internet........... and don't have to wade through commercials.

My opinion of broadcast news is that Don Henley's old song is more relevant than ever.

We got the bubble-headed-bleach-blonde who comes on at five
She can tell you ’bout the plane crash with a gleam in her eye
It’s interesting when people die-Give us dirty laundry

and especially

You don’t really need to find out what’s going on
You don’t really want to know just how far it’s gone
Just leave well enough alone
Eat your dirty laundry

I'd bet a coffee that she owns a gun though.
If not, she probably has armed body guards at her beck and call.

I quit watching most CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC shows, and never, repeat, never their national news and political talk shows.

"Life is too short to watch television news"

I agree. I watch DVD's of "Sanford & son", "Andy Griffith", "King of the Hill" & I play darts.
