If it's the private business owner who is making a policy against firearms on his/her property, then s/he has as much of a right to do that as we do to carry a firearm in the first place. If its a state law that bans the firearms, well then thats no good at all.

Most browsers now have some sort of private browsing capability. Chrome, for example, calls it an 'Incognito Window'. Open one of those up, paste in the link, vote, close the window. Repeat until you're tired of it.

Also, I understand that business owners have the right to make the choice to ban firearms in their places of business. However, just like any hypothetical law that might make firearms illegal, it'll only prevent law-abiding citizens from bringing a weapon into the store/restaurant/whatever. Criminals are going to bring guns in either way. That being said, a business owner who makes the choice to ban firearms in his place of business is, for all intents and purposes, a moron who's endangering his clientele.

Your first points are correct - if a store has ANY policy you disagree with strong enough, don't spend your money there

Those polls are never legit. There was a time when I had a Lynx browser available (way long ago) and I scripted it to hammer a vote as fast as the computer could send the packet. Got a poll to look the way I liked in about 2 minutes.

If I am carrying concealed, and a business has posted a legitimate 30.06 notification (in Texas) then that business will not get any of my commerce.
That being said....I am carrying concealed. And since concealed means concealed, unless I draw the weapon in response to a valid threat, nobody in the store except me, my wife, and any deity I may believe in will know that I am carrying. If the business is not following the specifics of the 30.06 ban (proper signage, verbage, and graphics), then it is a request, not a mandate.

Carry is still new and scary to the public in WI.

Some people will be wanting restrictions on licensed carry for awhile there until it has established itself as no big deal, and nearly nothing changed. Hopefully you can resist such restrictions until that point, because undoing them once in place is a lot harder than avoiding them in the first place.
You are most vulnerable now to additional restrictions being put in place, avoid them a few years and fear of the unknown won't be much of a motivator for more restrictions anymore.
