CC on a Motorcycle?

It is legal to conceal "for the purpose of protection" in a vehicle, but what about on a motorcycle.

I wanted to go from point a to point b with my firearm, so could i open carry to my bike, mount the bike, conceal the weapon, drive without "brandishing", the un-conceal, and unmount my bike. . .

is that legal?

What state are you in?

I too would like to know a bit about this. I know a lot of bikers that cary. I don't think its ok in CA where I live.

What kind of gun? A handgun or long gun? If handgun and your state is "concealed carry", just keep it under your shirt, jacket, whatever. Long guns, neh.

general consensus was that if its visibly a guncase its gonna draw haressment from woried cops. in the end i designed easily detatchable mounts so i could take it with me when i got off the bike.

as far as carrying consealed without it being locked then i assume all ccw rules apply as if in any other place. make sure holster is absolutely secure tho, cause ive seen some pretty big things fall out of peoples pockets when they were on a bike and the didnt notice. even if you did notice it fall out its gonna get ground to poo by the road and definately breaks the rule about it not being seen.

I have a big bike with side bags and trunk and normally keep a gun in the trunk. I've been down and I don't really like thought of falling on the gun - that would hurt.

I carry twin P3AT's. I have several carry options both on and off body.

On body needs to be well thought out or you can be in for a world of hurt if you go down.

Let's just say that the body armor pouches in good riding gear can come in handy.

As already mentioned it depends on the state, in OH your ccw gun must be "in plain sight" when in a motor vehicle, this includes a motorcycle.
Meaning if your riding a bike, you're essentialy "open carrying"
