I just seen this quote while cruising gunbroker and thought it might be a nice conversation piece to discuss here.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=264137320
"This auction is for one of the lightest weapons on the market, the Smith and Wesson Model 317-2 22LR revolver. This gun is in very good fired condition. The two inch barrel and nine shot cylinder makes this a gun with bite. This weapon would be perfect for a backpack or to keep in the tackle box for varmints. Some people attach them to a lanyard and wear around their neck for concealed carry. Auction includes the factory box and paperwork. MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Amex, and money orders all are acceptable forms of payment. 3% premium on all forms of payment except money orders. We do not accept PayPal or ship to California. Packaging, shipping, and insurance is $35. The winner must ship through a Federal Firearms Dealer. Firearm is also shown in our range pro shop. Once a bid is placed the pistol will be removed from display. We recommend that all guns be checked by a qualified professional before firing."
I just wonder if anybody has actually pulled it off. I know the weapon is small and light, but a pendant it is not.
