I have 2 pistols, a Taurus PT 24/7 Pro C, and a S&W M&P Shield, both in 9mm, that I'm looking for a specific type of holster. On both of these guns, the laser sights available attach to the front of the triggerguard and extend forward under the barrel. I have seen several holsters for these guns, but not one that will carry with the laser attached. I prefer IWB and I shoot left handed. I had seen one in an ad in Firearms News, but it was an ad for a new gun company, and I think the holster was a fake. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have a IWB, for XDS 4.0 45ACP W/Crimson Trace Laser. Kinetic Concealment. Lifetime Warranty, I've had mine about 10 years, still going strong. Their selector is a pull down, it has a HUGE firearm selection. I managed to select XDS, 4.0, and CT, for Right Hand.

Give them a look http://www.kineticconcealment.com/ then select Kit, then which hand, then the particulars for your firearm(s).

Good Luck,

Dan

There are holster companies that make products for firearms with lights/lasers. It would help to know what you have on your firearm to point you in the right direction.

I haven't bought a laser/light device yet because I was having trouble finding a holster. My thinking was if the gun and laser wouldn't fit a holster, then why buy the device? I will probably go with a CT model. The Viridians are a little out of my price range. Thanks again.

Alright, that opens up a bit more discussion. For the most part, the CT lasergrips do not need a special holster in order to be carried. If anything there may need to be some extra in letting on the outside of the holster for the bulge part of the laser diode, but nothing major.

I personally like Viridian products better than CT. And my holster is made by a company called White Hat. Currently they make holsters to fit popular Viridian, Streamlight, Surefire, and Inforce models.

Crimson trace makes at least 2 styles of Lasers, one that is made into the grip, and one that mounts forward of the trigger guard. I have 2 1911's with the Grip Type, and the XDS 4.0 that aa carry has the forward of the trigger guard type.

Sneaky Pete has left handed holsters that will accommodate a laser. I have one for my Ruger LC9s pro.
