If it's an Indian Casino, you must get permission from the board (the Indian elders) to carry.
1. They will not allow you to carry.
2. So don't even waste your breath.
It's your life, do what you deem is right for you and go with it. You allow others to make the decision for you, then you are their property.
State run casino, then read your handout you got from the office and check the laws. If it's a no, then the paragraph above is your answer.

If you ever come to WA State, as a matter of course you can NOT carry in any of the Tribal casinos. This is because all of them are liquor establishments.
This does not apply if you are an LEO, with the proper credentials.

But their main purpose for being is not to sell/serve alcohol.
Packing.org doesn't say anything about it, and I didn't know if Tunica casinos were Indian run or not. . .and since my permit is from Oklahoma, I don't have any documentation on MS

Tribal law being so complex, i'd contact the tribal police directly and get their answer. The Nations are just that, relatively independent nations. I woud'nt trust any info that did'nt come directly from them. I also would pay far more attention to the letter of the law than I would otherwise.

To the best of my knowledge, the casinos in and around Tunica are NOT all Tribal casinos. Which one(s) were you planning to visit?

Can't speak for all the casinos in Tunica, but at Fitzgeralds the hotel is not posted, but the casino is.

If you ever visit a riverboat casino in Indiana (we recognize all out of state permits, BTW), you cannot carry on the boat itself but the operator is required by law to let you check your pistol with security before you board and retrieve it once you exit the boat.

Hi, Jack, my boxing club hits Memphis once a year (next weekend!) for a qin na seminar at Rhodes College. Some of us hit Tunica and the um, er, adult entertainment facilities there. The casinos and strip joints I am familiar are posted (may not be every one though).

As far as I know all the tribal casinos are all in the central part of the state around the reservation at Philadelphia, (Neshoba County) MS. I'm pretty certain the Tunica casinos are private. I'm not aware of any state restriction on carry in a casino per se; however if it's posted no guns, then you can't carry even with a permit. However, the liquor thing still applies under state law; you can't carry in a bar, etc. The exact wording of the statute is: "any portion of an establishment, licensed to dispense alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises, that is primarily devoted to dispensing alcoholic beverages; any portion of an establishment in which beer or light wine is consumed on the premises, that is primarily devoted to such purpose" I have no idea what part(s) of a casino may fall under this law, but I suspect some of it will. The MS code permit section is available online at http://www.mscode.com/free/statutes/45/009/0101.htm

Too bad NV doesn't have reciprocity with ANY other state - you can carry all you want in casinos here as we aren't banned from places that serve alkeehol.

Tunica isn't on reservation land. The Casino's in Ms. are private enterprises operated in counties which have voted to legalize Casino gambling. The (9) Casino's are basicly clumped together in 2 groups ~ 3 miles apart, with the Fitz and The Grand being the odd-ball loners. there's an excellent map of Tunica and the gaming area on one of the links above. Every Casino has free valet parking;there's a shuttle 7/24 (I believe that's correct, but verify it via a call to the casino host - see below) that runs several times an hour to take you from one "clump" of casino's to another. Cost for the shuttle I'm told is a dollar a person.
The Grand is kind of an exception. The Casino is ~ 1/4 mile from 2 of the 3 hotels @ the Grand. One hotel is attached to the casino,,,but if you haven't had your reservations in for the attached hotel for a few months, forget about staying at the attached one. Our reservations are @ the Grand Casino Terrace.
Every Casino has a toll free number. Call the Casino, ask for the host, and ask about the house rules for packing. Heck call the Casino, ask for the host and introduce yourself,,,be sure to ask about comps. Tunica is "comp city" ie: free (or next to free food for players as long as you get and use a players card)
tip - For the best rates, make your reservation on-line with any of them. FWIW, we plan on staying at the Grand (cheapest @ $29.00 per night for both my wife and I - not $29 ea, but $29 for both - cheaper than Vegas). I see that the rates have jumped to $55.00 a night, so I suggest booking asap. I made the reservations about 3 weeks ago - almost 2 months out.
tip 2 - Sign up online for a players card - EXCEPT for Bally's. @ Bally's, you get a buffet lunch for a buck when you sign up for a players card. Grand/Sheraton/Bally's are all part of Caesar's conglomerate, so one card is good at all of them. I (we) usually sign up for individual casino cards @ each of them to glom onto the freebies, then just use one of the cards at all of them to add points faster.

correction:
There ARE casinos on the Indian Reservation near Philadelphia. The Silver Star is the only one I can name, and may be the only one. It is owned and operated by the Choctaw Nation. Also, only certain counties had the option of allowing gambling - those along the coast or MS river which are required due to state law only allowing gambling from the boats. The reason that the casino @ Philadelphia is allowed to exist away from water is that it's on the reservation and not subject to state law.
