Just received this from the NRA:

Today, Tuesday, March 14, Senate Bill 418, "The Personal and Family Protection Act" passed the Kansas House of Representatives with a vote of 90 to 33! This important legislation sponsored by Senator Phil Journey (R-26) is now heading back to the Senate for expected concurrence.

I'd like to thank the Kansas Legislature for voting with the safety of the people of our state in mind. Much appreciated, and I plan to show my appreciation come election time. Many thanks to those who've worked so hard to get this bill passed. You done good.

I also want Governor Sebelius to know that she vetoes this legislation at her own peril, come November, and any legislator who changes his/her vote and won't over-ride her veto does so at their peril. I may not be all that smart or good-lookin', but I am persistant and I personally will 'get out the vote' to help rid Kansas of any nanny-staters who get between me and my ability to protect my family and myself. This is the will of the people, so get out of our way.

Madame Governor and any wishy-washy legislators, please remember the famous words of Mel Brooks as Governor Le Petomane "We've gotta protect our phoney-baloney jobs, gentlemen". Yes, ladies and gentleman, you do.
