Anybody know what threadform this "slant" brake is? On the example I looked at today it was a right hand thread. Would like to replace it right away with a standard muzzle nut, but must find one properly threaded.

Anybody know where I can find something like this?

It is 14x1 RH threaded.

czechpoint or apex parts might have what you want.

I doubt it.

Century uses US-made barrels and (I believe) standard AK slant brakes (14x1LH) on their VZ2008 rifles.

Stubbicat, you can check if you have an AK.

The Czech Vz58 has never been equipped with a slant brake - that is a present from Century's beavers.

Thanks guys. I appreciate you stopping by with the answers I seek. And Apex is not to far away either. :)

The VZ-2008 definitely has 14x1mm RH threads. I replaced the goofy Century slant brake on mine with a Czech military-style brake from CNC Warrior. I need to get a better pic but here it is:
