Cetme bolt carrier lubrication

    I recently purchased a Cetme and have only fired 10 rounds of German surplus DAG ammo thru it. I cleaned the bore with Hoppes and the bolt and trigger assemblies with WD40 and compressed air.
    I have a can of Remington Drilube I was going to coat the bolt carrier with and some Tetra gun grease I was going to apply where the trigger part rubs on the bolt carrier.
    Is that enough lubrication aside from squirting some Tetra gun oil down in the trigger group?
    The gun groups left of center in a about a 8 inch circle off hand at 50 yards on the first ten rounds. Bolt gap is about .007.

    Very little lube is needed in the trigger group, bolt should be wet but not dripping. You need to open up the bolt gap, .007 is well below acceptable. +4 rollers will help a little but you might consider a new bolt.

    If the bolt gap is too small, typically replacing the bolt head will not improve this issue, unless the little apertures in the bolt head thru which the rollers protrude are way wallowed out. Generally a bolt gap issue is the result of the trunnion wear. Rarely will it be a result of the locking piece (that wedge shaped thing inside the bolt head which bears on the rollers). Almost never is it the result of wear on the bolt head.

    i use antiseize grease in my cetme. made by lubriplate you can buy it in any autoparts store its high heat and pressure i used oil and it jammed alot but when i switched ive yet to have a jam in about 1000 rounds of surplus german ammo from cheaper than dirt.

    Of the CETMEs on the market today a too small gap is often cause by a over zealous builder (I refuse to call them 'smiths) over grinding the face of the bolt. I have brought 2 back well into the low teens by adding a new bolt.

    If an original spec bolt was ground down to a shorter fore/aft length by an over zealous builder to create a gap between the bolt and the carrier where there was none before the grinding commenced, perhaps you could explain how replacing the ground down, shorter length bolt, with a standard length bolt in the same rifle will *increase* the gap? I must be missing something here.
