Changing sights on Kahr P9

    Can any tel me an easy way to take off my sights and switching to night sights without damaging anything. Thanks! drf

    Yes....DON'T try it.

    Early Kahr's were notorious for loose sights, that sometimes just fell off.
    Kahr fixed the problem....and HOW.

    Kahr sights are now usually so tightly pressed in place that even pro gunsmiths with sight mover fixtures can't budge them.

    I've talked to several 'smiths that actually wound up cutting them out of the dovetails.

    If yours move with a brass drift and a light hammer...go for it.
    If they don't move, STOP, and send the slide in to Kahr for installation.

    They have some King Kong sized sight pusher fixture, and won't damage the slide or finish.
