Don't leave Li'l Gun in your Chargemaster hopper.

I almost always dump my powder back into the container when I finish a batch. I was working up some loads the other day and planned to reload the next night so i left it in there. Well, life intervened and it was three days before I got back to it. Went to dump the powder and it wouldn't run out. Poked around a little and the powder had fused to the green plastic in the hopper. Had to scrape it out. What a mess. Finally got most of the surfaces scraped pretty clean.

The Chargemaster seems to still work fine but the powder definitely did a number on it.

Never again!

I think that it's OK mechanically but it's ugly now :)

That high nitro must be what makes LG work so well in .357.

Most powder companies and loading books recommend putting the powder back in the original can for storeage.Sunlight and humid air are not good for powder.I have occasionaly forgotten and left powder out,so far without issues, but thanks for posting your expierence. lightman
