A local shop had a NIB CD tactical 12ga. I bought it on a whim. I took it out and it jammed on the first shot. I had to take the gun apart to get the shell out, the slide was stuck and wouldn't move. The slide moved fine before I shot it. I was only shooting a Fed. field load, bird shot. It wasn't a hot load.
I know CD is out of business, and parts are getting hard to come by. Is anyone honoring any warranty on these guns, or am I on my own?
 
Is there anybody still making or importing a gun the same as a Charles Daly 20 ga. semi-auto?

We have 2 and wouldn't mind having a few more.

Is there another 20 ga auto about the same weight?

Does anybody know where to buy the Akkar 20 ga semi autos or what labels they are being sold under? Akkar made the Charles Daly's. We have several Charles Daly's in our group and like the weight and fit. We're looking for a few more.

I have same gun and have had no problems. I have looked online for a year or so trying to find parts, especially barrels, with no luck.
 
Hunterdad, I'm not sure who your question was aimed at. We did clean ours before we shot them. I know of others that did not clean theirs and had problems till they did.

JIminhobesound: I saw a few barrels and parts yesterday when I was searching for more info on a lightweight 20 ga semi auto with synthetic stock

I found one company that called their stocks polymer instead of synthetic or composite. I didn't have polymer in my search and am surprised I stumbled across that gun
