Charter Field King

Does any body here have first hand experience with a Charter Field King rifle? A local shop has got them on sale for $199.95 (in .30-06, or .308), so I'm interested to know if they're junk, or a diamond in the rough. Any and all information would be appreciated.

look in their archives they did a review of this rifle I belive with favorable results. The barrels were made by Shaw.
