Cheaper Than Dirt is running a special on .223 Wolf.

We all know the pros (price) and cons (dirty, etc.) of Wolf ammo.
I run it through my WASR 10 all the time, but really stop short at
the thought of cycling it through my Armalite M15, but at this price
I'm tempted to make a bulk purchase and stash it away for...well,
you know...a "rainy day", so to speak. ;)

Any thoughts, THR AR owners?

I wouldn't run it in my Bushmaster, especially not in "interesting times." ammoman.com has it for just south of 27¢ a round, anyway, one penny better, delivered.

I'd stick with brass reloadable stuff at 34.9¢ per round and not sweat a malfunction: http://www.ammoman.com/webstore_223.htm Look at his first offering.

My buddies and i got lucky and found a local shop that had brown bear for $119.95 a 500 and silver bear $129.95 a 500...

Go to Georgia arms and check out their "Canned Heat" specials. I 've used Georgia arms products for years and have had no problems, also several LEAs are using it as training ammo in my part of the country, especially since the artificially inflated ammo prices are hitting us in the bread basket.

If it's as reliable as you say, that Georgia Arms "Canned Heat" .223 in the HP looks like a great deal. Thanks!

Mm hmm. I remember trying to explain to SMWBO that I needed to drop $450 plus shipping to pick up three cans of RG. It's more than doubled since then, and you can't find it any more anyway.
