Anybody have a suggestion on where to look for some inexpensive 150-175grain .308" projectiles? My only real requirement is that they be non-magnetic.

I have about 2k pieces of commercial and 1.5k mil-surp 30-06 brass that I want to load for my Garands, just to keep around for plinking and when I take newbies shooting. I'm really happy with my 168gr SMKs over IMR 4895, but for what I'm doing with this batch, I'd like to reduce the cost and don't really need a match grade bullet.

In a perfect world I want to be as close to $200/k as possible for new bullets, a little less for a quality pulled bullet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nobody seems to have any right now, but 147 Gr pulled bullets from places like FS Reloading etc are about as cheap as it gets. I ordered 500 from them right before this craziness. I can't find any anywhere right now.

For new bullets, Wideners can have some good deals from time to time.

Your not going to find .308 diameter bullets for much under that 27/100.

Do you know what velocity those X-Treme 150 Gr bullets are rated for?

No but X-Treme's website rates their bullets to 1500 fps. Perhaps they had this load in mind?

    Hodgdon load data
But probably need to call them to verify.

I wonder if they will handle 1900 FPS in the .300 BLK........ Hmmm. I could always shoot them with Trail Boss in .30-30 if they cant.

I did, 500 headed my way. I needed an excuse to buy some more Loc-Tite anyway.

Thanks Fatelvis! That's exactly what I'm looking for. I've bought those before and they're not blemished at all as far as I can tell, just didn't see them instock last time I checked Midway. Ordered 500, which is unfortunately the limit, so I'll get a couple of the guys at work to order more on my behalf, sucks that it will cost me $15 per box to ship, but still a great pricer per bullet, $200/k, exactly what I was hoping to spend.

Here's what you're looking for. Get them while you can!

On the way ! After changing my password (I forgot), updating credit card (expired #), and waiting for everything to slowly load. Man I'm tired, lol!

I ordered some of the blemished bullets. It will be interesting to see what we all get since it mentions everything is different box-to-box.
