Cheap Leupold binos

    Decided to blow my Cabelas points on a pair of Pro Guide HD 8X42. Been playing with them for a couple days and am impressed.

    They seem to compare pretty well to my Meopta Meostar non hd 10X42, especially considering the price. The Leupold is considerably better than a pair of Vortex Viper HD that I used for an elk season a couple years ago.

    On sale for $250 right now, used to go for $550.

    Interestingly, the wife seems to like these when she had trouble looking through the Meopta. Think I am going to use these instead of my 10x for brush hunts.
