Another vote for zilla lizzard litter from Petsmart. I've tumbled a lot of .223 brass in it and never had any "clogs". It all comes out in the media separator.

Not really cheap, its over a dollar a lb. an d facturing in the extra weight even costlier. Plus factur in the cost of getting it, its higher still.
However Drillspot ships you a 40 lb bag for slightly less than $35 bucks right to your door and it goes further being as its light weight. Cleans as well also IMO.

If I wanted to use corn I'd use Drillspot. But I use walnut, which is more money, from Harbor Freight. Just make sure to buy the fine grade. It's $1 a pound which I don't think is to much since it lasts a long time.

I have some Zilla now and like it, but the flash holes are still clogged, just easier to remove.
