    very similar in concept to an old smg Made by james sullivan of ar fame, which had a reciprocating slide, and reverse moving bbl, that slid in towards each other during recoil the whole thing looked like a long bbl'd semi auto pistol. But it certainly didn'tfit into it's own cool enclosure like that... I think it was based on the old Linda pistol...somewhat like this but imagine , if you will, the top part which has the slide and the bbl; now imagine just the back half is the slide, and front part is the bbl, and when you fire , the two parts slide together towards each other, so that in it's relaxed state, it is the longest it is going to be.
