I got some 10 round 1911 .22LR magazines from Midway and was wondering how long I could expect the magazine springs to last before they need replacement. After maybe 100 rounds through one of them, I already had to pull it and stretch it to get it to feed right.

Where is the best place to get replacement springs?

Any experience with how long the springs last?

    Mine work great

I bought some Cieners used to use with my Marvel. They have been great for me, I'd guess several thousand rounds.
They are easy to take down and clean. My guess is you have a burr or some grit in the spring well.
