I'm starting to sound like a broken record, I know.

I was looking to buy one of these, but now I just wonder if anyone even has one!

I think you're going overboard, personally, with this thread.

You ask this question every time you post (it's in your signature, in large bold letters).

    Isn't that enough?

nalioth - I was hoping with this thread to maybe spark a discussion with someone who owns one of these, not necessarily someone looking to sell one. I did mention that I know I'm being repetitive, and I apologize for any discomfort this thread has caused you or anyone else. If THR admin think I've gone too far they are welcome to delete this thread.

Bluehawk - I've Googled "Deer Creek Products" and the first hit is from ripoffreport.com, another further down from pissedconsumer.com - not a good sign. Do you know of a way to contact them?

Deer Creek Products is located in Waldron, Indiana and their phone number is 765-525-6181.
The other rip off DC company is entirely different.

Deer Creek doesn't have a website...they are old fashioned folks and like to do everything by mail or phone. Articap posted the address/phone number for you.

I had a .22 LR version of that when I was in college.

I gave it to my room mate for Christmas and he shot himself in the leg with it!

Cheap little gun; not worth so many posts.

I have several Classic Arms Twister black powder derringer kits

Let me know if you are still looking for one. I'm planning to sell them for the holidays. They are all in original boxes and factory shrink-wrapped. The instructions appear to have been photocopied, and no one seems to have an original instruction sheet.

I have a bunch of Classic Arms derringer kits for sale!

I just registered online with thehighground.org because I saw the post on the looking for a Classic Arms Twister. I have 6 or 7 of the Twister kits in their original boxes, shrink-wrapped by the original manufacturer back in 76.

I also have a dozen of their New Orleans Ace kits,
6 Snake Eyes (fully assembled), and
    2 three-barrelled Duckfoot kits.

If interested, let me know. I figure $75 each, except for the triple barrelled Duckfoot kit, which would command $100. The boxes are less than perfect, but in good condition. All the guns are still factory sealed to a backboard. I have not advertised them anywhere yet.
If interested, email me directly and I can send photos, etc.

Add $10 for fedex ground shipping once, as the cost of adding another kit to the shipment is negligible.

Note: I only have photocopies of the Twister assembly instructions, and there appears to be one line missing at the top of page 2, but it doesn't appear to cause a problem, due to the schematics shown. (Seems no one has an original instruction sheet for this Twister model, and everyone has been using this photocopy as the master.) If anyone reading this post has an original Ivory colored instruction sheet, please contact me if you are willing to share it!)

Error on pricing posted for Classic Arms kits

My apologies, I meant to say $100 for the fully assembled Snake Eyes derringers. The three barrelled Duckfoot kits would only be $75.

Can you post pics of the Snake Eyes? Have they been fired? Did you assemble them yourself? Etc, etc, etc?

I have cell phone photos I can email you, but because thephotos I just took are not posted on the internet, I can't post them here, unless I'm missing something. I did find a similar one on the internet, which I have included here. I have 5 fully assembled ones for $100 each, and I discovered that I also have an unassembled kit. None have been ever fired, and are all still factory sealed. Finding a few examples on other sites, it seems I must have special editions, as my assembled ones are all factory engraved. The unassembled one will look like the photo in this post. The assembled ones are glossy gold tone with swirly engraving along the top of the barrels, the grip, and the sides. I thought they all came like this, and may have under-estimated their value! Seems the kits are not gold tone, nor engraved. I've already committed the $100 price tag on the assembled ones, and am willing to do one of those for you, but I'm pulling the remaining four from that price until I explore the matter further.

Check out the Snake Eyes version on the web

I have one kit, unassembled, factory sealed, for $75. plus $10. shipping fedex ground. It is not engraved, like the assembled ones. I would have you deduct the cost of a money order from your total cost (Ex. $85. less $3. = $82.00).
The nickname for the Snake Eyes model was "The Deadly Deuce" in riverboat gambling days. Photo is at

First you said $75 then changed your mind and committed to $100...now changing your mind again. Not a good way to do business! Perhaps this thread should be closed and start a new one before you lose all credibility??

    Apologies

Sorry about that, mea culpa! It takes me about 20 minutes to find this forum when I get on to see if there are any new contacts.

If you had 24 of these kits in 4 different models and either assembled or unassembled, you'd get confused too! Make an offer and you might be surprised...the wife wants me to de-clutter.
